Hello! My name is Katrina

I am a Data Science student at UC San Diego who focuses on using data to make healthcare easier and more efficient. I am developing AI tools that reduce administrative work in clinical settings, such as drafting medical notes and organizing patient information. I also build tools that help claim adjusters review medical expenses more quickly.

My projects include wildfire damage prediction, recipe analytics, and electric vehicle trends. I enjoy turning results into clear dashboards so insights are easy to use. (See my projects for more.)

Outside of data, I used to live in rainy Seattle 🌧️ and now live in sunny San Diego 🌴. I like hiking, baking, and spending time with my cat!
